The process commences with a first phase that involves grinding of the dried peppers with a hammer mill. The peppers, once ground and refined, are transported to traditional stone mills. These mills work by rubbing two granite stones together to achieve a specific milled texture. This is the essential phase of the process during which our paprika’s characteristics of superior quality, colour and intense flavour blossom. The stone milling adds the final distinguishing touch which gives the paprika its aromatic characteristics and converts it into a fine and unique bright red powder with an intense and deep flavour.
